Test: PlayStation VR

I mention it in all VR reviews I’m writing, so sorry if you’ve read this before, but it’s important to point out that VR can do even an experienced player if you play it for too long.

Sony anbefaler at man tar pauser omtrent hver 15. minutt, og man stopper umiddelbart hvis man begynner å føle seg svimmel.

I would also admit that I was very naughty the first time I tried VR, and at first I tried it several times that I managed to avoid this feeling and actually begin to appreciate the experience.

Kroppen min, jeg ligner på, er ikke vant til å føle seg koblet fra de visuelle stimulansene den mottar.

Et annet interessant symptom jeg fikk etter langvarig bruk var en ganske dårlig hodepine.

That’s the second I’ve talked to who have had similar experiences without having spilled for hours and even if they’ve slept better, while some friends have felt very fine, even if they played longer and got less sleep.

I’d like to finish this theme with something positive: PlayStation VR is one of the best VR-systems I’ve had the pleasure of using.

Fremtiden til PlayStation VR

La meg innrømme det først som sist: I can not predict the future, and I can not claim that I have close acquaintance with Sonys plans for future to PSVR.

Så langt ser det bra ut – la oss håpe det ikke kommer opp på samme støvete hylle som PlayStation Vita eller Nintendo Wii.

Based on what I’ve seen and heard so far, both on messer and when I’ve talked with developers, there are many that are spent on VR in general, and especially on PlayStation VR.

What I’m trying to say is that there’s a lot of potential here – Sony would not waste millions of dollars on development if it were not – and when we learn how to exploit this potential, it’s going to get better.
